The sale item is her fourteenth novel, published in 1994, first American edition with Random House number line (starts with the number 2.) Black paper boards bound at spine with black cloth; silver lettering on front board and spine. Unclipped dust jacket has no bumps or tears. 242 pages.

Synopsis

Anita Brookner is the winner of the prestigious 1984 Booker Prize for Hotel du Lac . She is the author of many highly praised novels including Fraud, Dolly and Brief Lives . Her newest novel, Incidents in the Rue Laugier , will be published this winter by Random House of Canada. From the Hardcover edition.
