Haarlem: Limited Editions Club, 1965. Hardcover. Bookplate on the front pastedown. Fine in a Near Fine slipcase with some sunning. John Farleigh. Tall octavo (7-1/4" x 11") bound in two shades of fine linen buckram-- ivory and powder-blue--divided horizontally, with two rows of decorative ornaments stamped in gold along the joint, and with spine labels of the same shades of buckram applied to the contrasting areas. Printed by the Joh. Enschede en Zonen printing house in Holland on paper made in Holland specially for this edition. Translated and with an introduction by Rex Warner. Illustrated with sixteen monochrome drawings by John Farleigh executed in line and wash over a buff background. Copy #39 of 1500, issued unsigned. Monthly Letter laid in.
