Cope M.A. ('Noli Aemulari'), thin light water line across bottom outer corner disappearing on p.15, pencil underlining intermittently up to p.59 - have not spotted any therafter (all eraseable with patience), 3 ll. small pencil notes recto blank leaf after final leaf (2 end blanks before endpaper proper), a few faint brown patches to endpapers and blank end leaves; covers clean and unworn but seriously affected by pigment loss on both boards, extending almost completely across back, but spine unaffected. A survey of mental illness with a strong religious inflection throughout and extensive, multi-language, bibliography of 'pastoral psychiatry' at end (though not all books in this explicitly religious). The Hales Lectures were (are?) located at Western Theological Seminary Illinois, devoted to religious topics.
