Publishers' midnight blue cloth with gilt titles to spine in unclipped printed orange and yellow dust-jacket. Spine tips lightly creased; pp. 1463-1470 corner creased to margin and top edge very slightly foxed otherwise contents clean and crisp. Jacket a little nicked & creased to edge, and slightly surface soiled to yellow panel, with remains of price label to front flap. A Near Fine copy in Very Good jacket. Fourth volume of the five volume series, the standard work on the subject. Nicoll was a pioneer of British psychological medicine who studied the inner meaning of Christian ideas.
