Of course , he had written his share of them and he understood the context of most ll of them, His work has resulted in a set of papers with extraordinary accuracy and integrity . Given the challenges of the Great Depression and World War II and the unique length of the Roosevelt presidency , these are arguably the most important of all the presidential papers .
