The schedule of dances for the Ballet Russe at the 51st Street Theatre, NY, December 12, 1940 through January 8, 1941. The Ballet Russe performed for 15 weeks on Broadway between November 3, 1940 and January 12, 1941, following their fabled 1939-1940 Australia tour and before their 1941 Havana tour. This program, from the New York tour, featured such dances as Michel Fokine's Les Sylphides, Le Coq d'Or, Paganini, Prince Igor, Carnaval, Petrushka, Sheherazade, and Le Spectre de la Rose as well as David Lichine's Graduation Ball, which premiered during this Broadway run. Staple-bound, self-wrappers; 8 pages; b&w illustrations and photos; 4 x 5.5 inches.

Some rubbing and light soil to covers, with 4 x 10 mm green stain on front. Diagonal crease and torn upper corner to first/title page. Some light spots of foxing to inside of covers. Interiors otherwise clean and unmarked. Binding sound, with no signs of rusting to staples. Laid in are two theatre programs for The Azuma Kabuki Dancers and Musicians. One is from the Berkeley Concert Association and is dated April 4 and 5, 1956. The second program is from the Geary Theater in San Francisco, and is dated for May 17-29, 1954. Both are in excellent condition. . Hard Cover. Very Good.
