Simon and Schuster, 1945. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1945. No Edition Remarks. 229 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Pages are rough cut. Pages are moderately tanned with mild foxing to text block edges. Presentation plate stuck to paste-down, with a pencil inscription to free endpaper. Water drops on pages 56-67, with a few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Minor dog-eared corners. Boards have light shelf-wear with minor corner bumping and mild crushing to spine ends. Moderate tanning to spine, with water drops on all surfaces.
