About This Item
Quality Paperback Book Club, 1994.. Very Good/Unknown. Octavo, softcover, green and white wraps. Near fine. Great gift for poor speller. Eliminates spelling problems; guidance on disputed points of usage; helps with commonly confused words; ideal for word games. 292 pp. Entries in the book cover only those words that are frequently misspelled, misused, misunderstood, or mispronounced or that are genuinely obscure. Good book for the game of "dictionary" where everyone makes up a meaning for the word and then they are all read and you try and figure out which is the real meaning and at the same time fool the other guys.
