About This Item
Oxford; (1960): Clarendon Press. Thick Octavo. 3rd Edition. Originally published in 1936, it became the foundation of the quantum theory of molecular structure. 430 pages, index. . Enlarged greatly from the earlier edition of 252 pages. As the author writes he has retained the simple style of the first edition on the early part but admits that the later part has his most advanced theory so that it is inevitable that the last part will be more difficult. A nice copy bound in dark blue cloth, spine lettering gilt, the name of Professor John Zahrt stamped on the foot of the book, two pages on hole theory have some ink underlining else free from any marks, rear inner hinge cracked, in chipped and worn dust jacket.
