About This Item

New York: Simon and Schuster, 1991. A tiny tear to the top rh corner of the unclipped dustwrapper, otherwise a very good copy of this hard-cover book, being the author's life-story. Originally from Missouri, she moved to Arizona where she met a man who was a Yaqui spiritual leader and whom she later married. She became involved with the spiritual life of the tribe, and eventually became part of the ''Dreaming Women'' group. Lengthy hand-written inscription by the author on f/ep. and a hand-written letter which mentions, among other things, her visits to Iona and Callanish in Scotland. 271pp.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
