Cambridge: Charles W. Sever, 1875. First Edition. Wraps. Good. An American drama thought to be inspired in part by Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865). Greenough (1833-1901) was a classical scholar who served as professor of Latin at Harvard for 28 years and also assisted in the founding of Radcliffe College. 32 p.; 20 cm. Octavo. Original printed paper wrappers. This copy is lacking the substitutions insert. Tiny chip to the bottom edge of the title page. The wrappers are a bit toned and soiled, with a closed tear to the top of the spine and some shallow chipping to the corners and tips. Scarce, OCLC locates only ten copies.
