About This Item

1940., 1940. First edition. Gorgeous early 27"x41" process lithographed poster from Morgan Litho, previously known for their stone lithograph posters for circuses, minstrel and Wild West shows, and silent movie films. Huge central blue-toned portrait image of Blanche Yorka, the Queen, surrounded by full-color images of J. Carrol Naish, Ralph Bellamy, Jean Cagney, Paul Kelly, et al. Few tape reinforcements on back and slight separation, but no paper loss, at one of the crossfolds, but nothing that linen mounting won't cure completely. Very good example of an auction quality poster.
