Burgundy endpapers, integral ribbon bookmark, sepiatone illustrations, including frontispiece. A novel from the 'Marie Antoinette Romances', loosely based on the 'Affair of the Diamond Necklace'. Minor small wrinkle at fore-edge of approx. first 30 pages, a small 1937 gift inscription on one preliminary page, very tiny split at top of spine, minor edge wear. Slipcase has moderate edge wear, rubbing and splits at rear joints.. Full-Leather. Very Good. Illus. by Paul Hardy..
