About This Item
London: Macmillan and Co Limited. 1904. First Edition. Hardcover. First edition, but I am not certain as to the printing/state/issue. [What would normally be the copyright page is blank, the "advertisement" page facing the title page is dated "March 1904", but the ads at the rear are dated "10.4.04"]. Red cloth lettered/decorated/bordered in gold gilt, top edge gilt, 509 pages plus 18 pages of ads at the rear. Historical fiction novel involving Mary, Queen of Scots / Scotland.
Good copy with the spine slightly cocked with some toning, lightly bumped, scattered relatively light soiling/staining to the cloth, light uneven toning to the end papers; but the text is tight and clean and the hinges are not cracked. See Photos clph
