About the author

Joey Danielle Rhode was born in the Bronx, New York but later settled in Texas. For a brief period, she moved to Virginia, but deciding that it was not her best choice, moved back to Texas to be with her boyfriend and eventual husband, Jason. Joey considers her home a small zoo as she has four dogs and a tarantula.

Joey graduated from JJ Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas. It was not hard to continue a college education right after graduation, although, the short stay in Virginia temporarily caused Joey to put her schooling on hold for a while. However, she is now happily enrolled back in College studying Psychology and English. She wishes to receive her Masters degree in both.

Joey has many short stories as well as poetry in a multitude of genres. She has been writing for almost two decades and still loves every minute of it. She also loves to read, see the sights, shop, and take pictures, just to mention a few things.
