Boards and pages are clean, unmarked, brightly colored, tightly bound and sharp cornered (except for very slight rubbing at board corners). Scarce, Out Of Print, Book. Evelyn Scott (1893–1963) was an American novelist, playwright and poet, who also wrote under the pseudonyms Ernest Souza and Elsie Dunn. This book "Precipitations" was her first book. .

Front endpaper bears the signature ( with his phone number ),of Donald M. Allen, the founder of Grey Fox Press, literary executor of the estate of Lew Welch, and editor of many significant beat poets. There is another signature, that of Lew Ellington, poet, and co-author of the Jack Spicer biography, Poet Be Like God..

San Francisco: Shirt Pocket Editions, 2006. 1st edition. Soft cover. Fine/No Jacket (as issued). Near Fine. 32mo, 25 leaves (printed one-side on card stock), comb binding. INSCRIBED to the painter Jack Freeman by the author on the first interior page. One of an unknown but presumably microscopic number of copies of the self-published first edition of this pocket-sized poetic collection by a key figure in San Francisco's North Beach from the Beat era until his death a few years after this was issued. Just about as new (minor marks on cover appear to be printing artifact).

Beautiful as-new copy of the fourth issue of this groundbreaking literary and Kabbalistic magazine edited by David Meltzer. Includes Image of the Wall by Wallace Berman, a lengthy 1964 letter from Lenny Bruce to a judge, a number of Kabbalistic pieces from traditional authorities, and other material from writers associated with the Semina scene. Unmarked copy, as new.

Unmarked and in VG condition in the original paper jacket - torn and fragile. the front board is very slightly bowed. "No Thanks contains some of Cummings's most daring literary experiments, and it represents most fully his view of life―romantic individualism. The poems celebrate an openly felt response to the beauties of the natural world, and they give first place to love, especially sexual love, in all its manifestations."

The second and final issue of this classic occultic literary magazine edited by Gerrit Lansing. Unmarked copy, light stains to covers and a few leaves at base, soft bend to top right corner.

New York: Random House, 1969. First Edition, First Printing. INSCRIBED on a preliminary page by Clarence Major, one of the authors featured in this anthology: "to Bert / good luck! / Clarence Major." An anthology featuring works by 72 poets, most of them Black or people of color. Besides Major, poets include Julian Bond, Victor Hernández Cruz, David Henderson, Calvin Hernton, Marvin Jackman, Bob Kaufman, Ishmael Reed, Sonia Sanchez, and Gloria and Stephen Tropp. Lengthy prologue by the editor, Walter Lowenfels. He is a distinguished professor emeritus of 20th-century American literature at the University of California, Davis. This is a review copy, with the Random House notice laid in.
