About the author

Jerry Langton grew up in Hamilton, Ontario where he wrote for the Hamilton Spectator. He also contributed to Maclean's. After a move to New York, he became a deputy editor for "The Daily News." Upon returning to Toronto, Langton's work appeared regularly in The Globe & Mail and the Toronto Star.
