Helen Sharman is an education officer at the London Zoo (UK), where she is responsible for developing educational activities and a teaching program on a variety of topics within biological sciences and environmental issues, including tropical rain forest wildlife and biome. She has written articles for the zoo's Lifewatch magazine as well as many resource packs for teachers and students, and is also a trained zoologist and a qualified teacher.
