A very clean very tight copy with bright very faintly spotted front navy cloth board, unmarked rear, clear gilt lettering to front and spine, slightly dusty page edges and minor bumping to spine ends. Large fold-out map at rear slightly torn and creased at extremeties. Spine not faded or sunned 290pp. With ten chapters on the author's travels in parts of the Lake District and other areas of Europe. Includes some Lancashire dialect talks with the locals plus twenty-seven drawings and a map of the Lake District. Undated, ca 1890.. Hard Cover. Very Good (+)/No Jacket. 8.75 x 5.25 inches.
