About This Item

Portland, Oregon: Binfords and Mort, 1968. First Edition Stated. Hardcover with Brown Boards. Near Fine/Near Fine. A popular B&M title about a famous ranch and ranching family of Oregon.

Book is near fine with bright and tight interior. Former owners name is on the verso of the FFEP. Dust jacket has some light edge wear, but no tears. It is now protected with a DJ cover.

A very nice collectable copy.

Have been reading a lot of Western ranch type books lately, because I am quite interested in the early Western history, & this one seems to offer the author's stories & anecdotes to the maximum. She writes of the ranch under the rimrock, & her family, both her own children & husband, plus her family of origin. The difference in this book is that the ranch in this story is in eastern Oregon. Yes, I would recommend this book to others. I especially like that I have have an "author signed" copy.

About Librariana Fine Books

We believe that a library is much more than a room or a space. A library is a place to work, rest, love, think and dream. It is the heart of the home.

Our mission is to help individuals, families and organizations furnish their bookspaces in a way that reflects their personality and values.

Beginning with fine books, and extending to other "librariana" - art, antiques and collectibles that make a space a library. We also repair books, and consult with home owners, organizations and bookstore owners looking to make their bookspaces into purposeful sanctuaries.

Whether your bookspace is a corner shelf in a bedroom, or a grand corporate space for meetings and work, Librariana can help "improve your library".
