Profusely and illustrated throughout with very charming yet intriguing and slightly unsettling colour plates by Anderson Wayne, and signed by him to the title page. The story matches the illustrations and was written by Christopher Logue, following the kidnapping of Bluebird by the evil witch for the contents of the egg she is about to lay. Rat and the animals of the Valley of Peace are ready to rescue her. In the original publisher's binding with illustrated boards. Externally lovely with only minor shelfwear. Signed by Anderson Wayne to the title page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are extremely bright and clean. Profusely and charmingly illustrated throughout with colour plates by Anderson Wayne. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
