The Razor's Edge by W. Somerset Maugham - 1944

First Edition/First Printing after the limited edition of 750 copies; a Near Fine book in a Very Good dust jacket. A handsome copy of this novel by one of the great authors of the 20th century, and basis for the fine film starring Bill Murray. This copy is in near fine condition with a tight binding, bright gold lettering on black boards, and clean pages with just a mild foxing to the edges; the book does show a gentle push to both spine ends and some mild rubbing to the board edges. Housed in an original, completely intact very good dust jacket that is clean and bright but does show moderate rubbing and chipping to the spine ends, edges, and corners with only minimal loss of material, creasing along the fold edges, some small tears to the top panel edges, and one small open tear along the flap edge to the back panel. Overall, a very nice collectible copy that is hard to find in this condition or better, particularly at this price point. Not price clipped ($2.75 intact), not ex-library, and no restoration or repair has been performed; protected in a mylar cover and shipped in a sturdy box.
