London: Collins, 1954. First edition, first printing. Published by Collins in London, 1954. This is a very good (or better) copy. The dust wrapper is nicely illustrated. A very good book with some light spotting to the page edges. In very good clipped wrapper with some light wear to the edges and to the spine tips and corners. SIGNED without inscription nor dedication by Bader to the front free endpaper. Biography of an English hero in World War II who lost both legs in an air crash, learned to walk again, and became a fighter pilot during the Battle of Britain. He was captured but managed to escape from the enemy.
