About This Item
Chicago: The Reilly & Lee Co., 1907. Undated, circa 1907. The author was an early twentieth century legal advocate, and later, judge, who took interest in encouraging disruptive young boys to succeed in better endeavors. The diary is printed as found, without spelling corrections, thoroughly entertaining reading for those who appreciate grammar school antics of a bygone era. Green cloth with black lettering, 200 pages. The book is in fair condition with considerable edgewear including rubbed corners and spine ends, taped front pastedown (but no loose pages), stamped ownership address appearing four times on endpapers, otherwise clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is heavily chipped with about ten to fifteen percent paper loss.. Hard Cover. Fair/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
