An wide-ranging study of the ancient notion of sophia - no mention of Hagia Sophia, but you will find George MacDonald, Pachamama, and Jakob Boehme. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Book is in NF condition with trace edge wear noted else a bright and solid copy. Dust jacket is in VG condition with pencil marking to front fly, light rubbing to edges, bumping to spine ends, mild soiling to front cover else still bright, intact and whole. JEX 1/21

Binding is square, tight and clean save for a stray mark on reverse. Red top stain. Internals clean except for faint marginal spotting/staining on pp.136-37. Old Weiser booklabel on front pastedown. Unclipped wrapper has minor wrinkling/ small creases (it is a very thin gold foil paper jacket) plus some edgewear; else Fine. Fifty-seven illustrations on b/w plates interspersed throughout text; again, as mentioned elsewhere on this space; images perhaps those not commonly seen re-printed ad nauseum.
