New York: G. P. Putnam, 1862. Paperback. Very Good. Pages 19-50, xvi, ix, [7] p., frontispiece portrait of Maj. Gen. E. D. Keyes; 25 cm. Beige wrapper with illustration by Richardson. Wrapper title. Frontispiece portrait engraved by A. H. Ritchie. Back wrapper contains advertisement for Heroes and Martyrs edited by Frank Moore. This number of Frank Moore's record of the American Civil War, issued during the conflict, contains the conclusion of volume 5, which consists of poetry and short items of interest, the index to volume 5, as well a title page, table of contents, and section title pages for that volume. Former owner's name stamped on blank side of frontispiece: A. L. Fluke. In Very Good Condition: wrapper is lightly soiled; upper corner of back wrapper creased; pages and plate are clean and solid.
