London: Smith, Elder and Co, 1856. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. 8vo. pp. xvi, 416, lithographed frontis. Original blind stamped cloth. Re-backed, keeping the original spine which is faded and chipped, with some loss at the head and foot. Small dampstain to lower innner corner of the frontis. Previous owner's embossed stamp to lower corner of the title page. Internally very clean and the binding tight. TPL 3304, Lande 1422.
