Description

London: Eveleigh Nash, 1903. First Edition. Hard Cover. (London: Eveleigh Nash 1903). First UK Edition. Publisher's mid-blue cloth with gilt titles to spine and red white and black decoration to front board. Spine tips a little worn, only just starting to fray. Corners of boards bumped/ rubbed and a little weakened thus. Boards a little scuffed/ rubbed but quite clean WITHOUT any sun-faded areas including that of the spine. Rear free end-paper cracked at the hinge but not gaping or loose, the binding being very firm. Overall VG and quite scarce thus. "Almost impossible to find in original state today - Haycraft: Murder For Pleasure P.65". Queen DSS P.75". "The Red Triangle was the last of the Martin Hewitt Books and the only novel (comprising six interlinked stories) to feature this detective" (Jeremy Parrott: Arthur Morrison - A Bibliography of First Editions page 45).
