A basic text on the art of refraction by the original master ophthalmologist, Dr. Thorington. Includes sections on Optics, Retinoscopy, the fitting of spectacles and eyeglasses. 215 illustrations; 13 in color. Includes new instruments which have been brought forward as material aids in estimating refractive errors. Book is in remarkable condition for its age. A wonderful copy for study of the old ways of refracting or for a library collection. A rare book in this condition.
