Very good condition: label is slightly scuffed, find a price erasure on the front free endpaper, book is else entirely sound, clean and unmarked. The "Steinach-Operation" involved a half-vasectomy intended to rejuvenate virility. Dr. Kammerer was a Lamarckian biologist whose reputation would later be permanently damaged by accusations of experimental fraud. Dr. Benjamin was Steinach's student who would build on his teacher's understanding of sex hormones to pioneer transgender healthcare.
