About the author

BARRY G. GINSBERG, PhD, has practiced child and family psychology for more than 25 years. He is Executive Director of the Center of Relationship Enhancement, an education and training center, and Ginsberg Associates, a child and family psychology practice. Dr. Ginsberg has presented workshops and training programs extensively at conferences and centers throughout the United States and Canada. His publications have emphasized clinical interventions with children, couples, and families. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, and the Pennsylvania Psychological Associa-tion, Diplomate in Family Psychology of the American Board of Professional Psychology, and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marital and Family Therapy. A nationally certified school psychologist, registered play therapist supervisor, and member of the American Family Therapy Academy, Dr. Ginsberg is the cohost of a cable TV program on parenting.
