published by Granada, London. 1982.. see description. first edition, 8vo, vi,217pp, original cloth, title gilt on spine, dustwrapper illustrated by a relief of Caesar Augustus, the dw is torn over the top of the fold of the flap-back, there are also blotches on the dw flapbacks, the spine is slightly faded and there are some fade marks on the front of the dw, there are also a few marks on the endpapers including a torn sticker (saying the book is being sold at this much lower price because it was returned damaged in transit), however, text is very good and binding very sound
