To Which is Appended, a Collection of the Most Interesting Papers on the Subject of African Colonization, and the Commerce, Etc., of Western Africa, Together with all the Diplomatic Correspondence Between the United States and Great Britain, on the Subject of the African Slave Trade. African Colonization -- Slave Trade -- Commerce. 27th Congress, 3d Session, House of Representatives, Rep. No. 283. February 28, 1843. Printed by Order of the House of Representatives. 1088 pp. Marbled board with leather spine. Covers in Poor condition with front cover completely removed from rest of document, corners are bent and rubbed to boards, edges worn, scuffing to cover faces, leather spine is dry and cracking, title bar is missing and section of bottom spine gone exposing interior. Ex. library stamp on front and back inside covers. First two blank endpapers are separated from rest of book. Small tear on title page. Fold-out map has foxing, but otherwise in VG condition. Interior pages are browning along edges and has foxing throughout. Book in Good condition.. Boards. Good. Illus. by Fold Out Map. Size: Approx. 5 3/4" x 9". Slavery.
