New York: Grolier Club, De Vinne Press, 1907. Second. Hardcover. Very good+ Inside. Book in very good condition. Inside of book is VG+. Second revised edition. 3/4 leather. Cracking in front gutter, and some chipping at the top of the spine. Fading to the spine with some other scrapes. Book has a tight spine and very clean text. Folio, half blue Morocco. Handmade paper, uncut on some pages. Printed by the De Vinne Press in an edition of 300 copies. The 12 plates of binding are printed in full color on Imperial Japan paper and 2 plates shows Grolier's arms, motto, etc. Breslaeur calls this work, ''The first classic of bookbinding literature'' it was first published in Paris in 1866.
