New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1928. First printing. Hardcover. Very Good +/good -. First edition. Green cloth 8vo, 291pp. VG+ with light rubbing to the corners, minor nudging to the spine ends. With several in-text chart and map illustrations. In the uncommon dustjacket, which is in good condition with moderate wear to the edges and corners, including a chip to the lower rear corner and a puncture to the rear panel. This copy is INSCRIBED by the author's mother, Laura, to probably his aunt, Anna Roosevelt. A quaint association copy, quite exciting for Roosevelt enthusiasts, in scarce DJ. Contents clean and unmarked.
