Death follows John everywhere he goes, taunting him and insisting that he is destined to die. John is desperate to find a way to stop Death from following him, and he turns to a shaman in hopes of finding a way. The shaman tells John that he must find a totem animal and make a deal with it. John finds a deer and makes a deal with it, agreeing to let the deer lead him to the afterlife if it can bring him back from the dead. John travels to the afterlife, but Death is waiting for him. John is able to defeat Death, and he is able to spend eternity with his wife and children. The Resurrection Man is a story about the power of belief, and the importance of friendship.; 8vo; FSA .
