New York: A. S. Barnes & Company, 1930. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Tall 8vo, 280pp. Teal coloured cloth with orange lettering and design to the front board. Light bumping to the corners and light wear to the cloth along the bottom edges, ink name to the front endpaper, book clean throughout and the binding tight and square. Dust jacket darkened and scuffed, with heavy edge-wear and chipping around the spine ends and the spine sunned. Illustrated with black and white illustrations and coloured plates by Ernest Thompson Seton. Popular edition, printed same year as the first.
