Brown tweed boards with black cloth overlay on the spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine. 240 pp 8vo. The author went to Japan before the Korean Conflict to find out what manner of man is GEN MacArthur in a totally objective and unbiased manner. After in depth assessment the author gives a MacArthur through his pattern of life and based on his current pattern of leadership. With the authors great command of Asian affairs, he draws a succinct and penetrating picture of a commanding personality; describes the nature of the Japan occupation and puts into focus the disturbing problems confronting the US in Asia. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
