Frontis and numerous other illustrations (Full page and smaller) throughout in black/white by WILL VAWTER. The scarce DJ with front cover color illustration of two young boys and their dog headed for the old fishing hole; rear cover ads for "Four New Vawter-Riley Volumes". Very slight wear to the book; spine lettering a bit dull. DJ with a few tiny shallow chips; small scuff at top of rear cover at left corner; light soiling to rear cover.
