Original pictorial cover booklet. The Canso Causeway connects Cape Breton Island with Nova Scotia, thus taking half an hour off the time required to make the trip. The idea of a bridge had been tossed about for years as a means of shortening the crossing time required by ferries. Finally, in 1955 the causeway was completed. Map centrefold. About 44 pp..
