The Platt & Munk Co, 1952. Ours is an ex-library copy with spine mended with brown book tape. There are rubs to corners, bumps to back corners, a small scrape to front side. Usual library stamps inside front cover. Table of contents page has a tear that has been mended with adhesive tape but the tape has fallen off leaving some residue. There are some finger smudges in text and a couple of noticed tears to side of pages. Obviously a well loved book.. Hardcover. Fair. Illus. by Lucille W. And H. C. Holling.
