New York: W. Reid Gould, 1869. Very Good. 1 assignment of mortgage (4 pages; 33 cm.) published by W. Reid Gould, N.Y. Printed and handwritten with one Internal Revenue stamp. On Oct. 19, 1868, James Brown of Newburgh had mortgaged a property to Robert Miller for $300. Now on March 29, 1869, Miller assigns the mortgage to Benjamin W. Chambers of Newburgh. Signed by Robert Miller, and Justice of the Peace W. Jno. Macdonald. In Very Good Condition: light folds; discoloration inside from the stamp on the first page; closed 2-cm. tear from fore-edge in first leaf; otherwise, clean and crisp.
