About This Item

New York: Guggenheim Museum, 1997. Softcover. VG. This is a Very Good copy in thick wrappers, 629 pages, just minor wear to covers, edges a tad soft. It belonged to the late great Jill Johnston (1929-2010), critic, radical lesbian feminist and champion of the avant-garde and bears her distinctive stamp in blue ink on half-title page which reads "Write first. then live." J.J., as well her pencil initials (twice) on same page and on the red ffep. Jill went back with Bob to the Judson days.
