With illustrated frontispiece. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Complete split to front joint with spine cloth loosening. Slightly mottled and dusty overall. Gilt is bright. Clipped jacket has some edgewear with chips, heavy tears and creasing. Jacket is rather rubbed and marked overall. Slight water staining to front and spine. Spine is heavily sunned.
