Grosset & Dunlap, 1940. Hardcover. Poor. Gay, Romney. Very large squarish book, green cloth spine, color-illustrated boards showing children feeding birds on front, child picking flowers at center back, ink Christmas note at top of first front end paper, light yellow background to inside covers and adjacent end papers with illustrations of children doing various activities, 34 pages, poems and color-illustrations throughout. Final page badly torn out. Several light scratches and remnants from pencil scribbles on front, badly worn along front edges, two short crayon scribbles near middle of first front end paper, long crayon mark on pages 5, 12 and 13, torn down left side of page 13 from top to near bottom. Poor.
