Portland, Maine: Thomas B. Mosher, 1906, 1906. Small Octavo. Limited to 75 copies printed on Japan vellum. The present copy is #25. 100(1)pp. with an introduction by Oscar Wilde. Among the more scarce of the fine Mosher Press items. Title printed in red and black with publisher's device in red. The bibliographical note at the end of the volume that it was during Wilde's visit to America in 1882 that he discovered Rodd's volume of verse, [Songs in the South]. A rare and important Wilde imprint. Owner's bookplate. A good copy bound in stiff paper wraps, self jacketed, rear panel detached, spine has closed tears and front panel nearly detached. In clear mylar cover which holds and further protects it nicely together.
