Hardcover in black textured boards with gilt titling to the spine. Two sections of photos on plates (one b&w and one colour), plus addition illustrations (maps, plans) embedded with the text. Notes, Bibliography and Index. Dust jacket is a little crumpled but not torn at the lower rear corner near the spine. Binding square. Boards slightly scuffed. Minor wear and no markings.
