Blackie & Son, 1891. 1st Edition. Hardcover. VG+. 1st Edition, 13.2 x 19.2 cm green bevelled boards with black, green and gilt decoration and gilt titles to the front and spine. All Edges green, dark blue endpapers, ix [iii] 384+32 catalogue for Blackie's books. With 12 full black and white illustrations by W Parkinson. Rubbing to the corners and spine tips with a couple of pin prick holes in the cloth but the titles are clear and bright. There is a ding on the top edge of both the front and rear boards. Internally there is a prize inscription on the half title page and occasional handling marks. Two leaves have marginal corner creases. All in all a lovely 1st Edition copy in an unusual coloured binding. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions.
