Pale purple coloured boards with white coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with white and pale pink coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. In this book the author explores a young woman's, Rowena, awakening; from finishing school in 1970, rejecting her upper-middle-class parents wishes for her, she searches for life and flees overseas to England, only to return to Australia where she finds " ... a new-found sense of harmony with the environment she so desperately long to escape. Unexpected events and new kinds of relationships bring about a drastic turn in Rowena's life which finally moves towards a sort of peace.
