Privately Printed for Bernard Davis, 1969. Hardcover. Very Good. Collectible first edition, first - and only - printing of noted Edgar Leeteg art dealer and agent Bernard Davis' Leeteg of Tahiti. "First edition 1969" so stated on copyright page. Davis partnered for many years with Leeteg in marketing many of his velvet paintings, over 1700 at the time of Leeteg's death, and becoming, along with Leeteg, wealthy during the Tiki craze of the 1940's - 1960's. Values of Leeteg's paintings, though selling for many thousands in his lifetime, dropped in value from the 1970's until recently, but now enjoy a resurgence that has put them out…
